The event is devoted to peer-to-peer networking and programs that highlight the latest topics of interest for the region’s leading financial executives. The Cultural Arts Center, Frederick, Varies
The indoor arts and crafts market features the work of up to 30 local artists, including jewelry, pottery, art, photography and other hand-crafted items. The events, which are free to attend and open to the public, happen six times per year. More details can be found on the Frederick Arts Council’s website.

DOWNTOWN FREDERICK PROGRESSIVE DINNER
Downtown Frederick, 5:30, 6, 6:30 or 7 p.m.
The Progressive Dinner is a unique way to celebrate the vibrant culinary offerings found in Downtown Frederick and help raise funds for the Downtown Frederick Partnership. Tickets can be purchased for a 5:30, 6, 6:30 or 7 p.m. seating. Diners will be seated European style, and a maximum of 26 people will be included per time slot. The appetizer, salad and dinner courses include a glass of wine and/or beer, and coffee will be served with dessert. Diners will walk between the restaurants. The Tech Council of Maryland is proud to debut its Lifetime Achievement Award, given to a local individual who has gone above and beyond over the course of a career to serve the community at large. Recipients display commitment and leadership both in the field and within the company, fostering new ideas and encouraging creativity. This year, TCM will honor Clifford M. Kendall, chairman and retired CEO of Computer Data Systems, Inc. His commitment and generosity to science, technology, engineering and math have allowed him to touch the lives of many people and serve as a role model in our community. TEDCO funding briefings provide detailed information about TEDCO’s primary funding programs for seed stage companies. These briefings should be of interest to economic development professionals, angel investors, entrepreneurs, small technology-based businesses, small defense contractors and university faculty inventors.
